Description
A great opportunity to join an established housing organisation going through positive change as Financial Controller. This role will lead on a number of key areas and will allow you to use your accountancy skills to deliver a first class financial service to the wider business.
You will deliver robust financial accounting and reporting across the organisation, including maintaining a culture of strong financial control as well as providing strategic information and advice to the senior leadership team.
You will own the production and delivery of the all financial reporting and management information to support effective decision making ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
You will lead the teams focussed on delivery of Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Transactional Services on a day to day basis with an appetite and passion to use your accountancy skills for continuous improvement and automation.
Profile
Successful Financial Controller candidates will need to demonstrate that they have held a similar role in a large, complex, multi-site operation.
Ideally candidates will have previous experience from gained within the housing and/or care sector background and will be fully qualified accountants ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA )
Candidates will need to demonstration the ability to influence across complex organisations with a range of different stakeholders and have a proven track record of providing effective leadership across a large team.
You will be technically strong and up to date in financial reporting, budgeting, finance processes & controls and with a sound knowledge of taxation and treasury standards.
You will be comfortable with all the regulatory requirements that housing and care organisations operate under and ensure that finance is compliant with all necessary requirements.
Job Offer
c£60,000 - £70,000 depending upon relevant experience
