Financial Controller

A Financial Controller role with a fast growing company in the FMCG sector. Based in Uxbridge

An import business that started trading in 2016 and has grown it's turnover to £40M
Currently a team of 18 people. In 2019 they are looking to invest in talent who can help drive the business forward. This is a family owned business with a dynamic fast-paced environment


Your new role
You will enjoy a varied and challenging role typical of an SME business. Primarily you will be responsible for the finance function with the support of an Assistant Accountant. However you will also have some HR and stock responsibilities.

ACCOUNTING / FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Undertake the full range of accounting activities and application of financial management controls, including:
- oversee daily book-keeping tasks to ensure the financial records are complete and up to date using Sage 200;
- proactive working capital and cash flow management;
- monthly payroll control;
- statutory compliance - audit, VAT, PAYE/NIC and auto-enrol pension;
- month-end accounts, annual budgets and ad hoc reports.


STOCK CONTROL
Oversee the financial recording of complete supply chain from stock purchases, through stock holding to the ultimate sale.


HUMAN RESOURCES
Maintain a secure paper and computer based records system for employee records.
Provide on-going HR administration for the company and ensure that all staff have the following documentation complete and up to date: Offer letter; Employee details sheet; Contract; Written terms and conditions of employment and Compliance with right to work requirements.
Ensure the timely sourcing of appropriate HR advice as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant experience at Finance Manager or Controller level
Experience of working in with physical product / stock
Flexible approach

What you'll get in return
A very competitive salary £70-80K
