A new Accounts Assistant job based at the head office of a construction company in Wakefield offering a salary up to £20,000.

Your new company

You will be joining a progressive construction company in Wakefield. As an Accounts Assistant you will become part of a small finance team where you will have the opportunity to develop.

Your new job role

As an Accounts Assistant, your key duties will include:

• Processing the purchase and sales invoices
• CIS - subcontractor returns
• Statement Reconciliations
• Allocating payment
• VAT returns

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this Accounts Assistant job you will have had similar experience in a previous finance job. You will have knowledge of CIS returns and VAT as an Accounts Assistant. Being able to demonstrate accuracy in your previous Accounts Assistant jobs will lead to your success. Studying towards your AAT or qualified AAT is desirable but not essential to this Accounts Assistant job.
