Developing knowledge to specialise in one of the firms two main divisions and be able to provide insight and opinions on the different practice areas.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to the following:

* Professionally handling queries from internal clients and producing ad-hoc reporting and analysis

* Validating the firm's management accounts and providing key stakeholders commentaries on performance

* Reviewing and validating report results to identify variations and developing trends

* Ensuring the timely production of client management information requests

* Assisting in the preparation of the Firm's budget, reporting against budget and liaising with budget holders

* Involvement in ongoing forecasting and being able to update as to likely results

* Working with report developers to specify and test new reporting solutions

* Opportunity to play key role in other ad-hoc finance projects

* Co-operation with other business services departments to provide an integrated support service to the partnership

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Part qualified accountant (with desire to complete a recognised accounting qualification) or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional environment
• Legal experience is a MUST
• Initiative and desire to get the job done, and get it done to a high standard
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach
• Confidence to liaise with staff at all levels within the business
• Organised with ability to manage workload to multiple deadlines
• Willingness to collaborate with others to achieve success as a team
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Highly PC literate with strong systems skills - excellent Excel skills are essential, and Aderant experience is advantageous
• Solution orientated with a positive, 'can do' attitude
• Understanding of the need for accuracy, timeliness and consistency and the balance between these
• Facility to adapt to and implement change, including interpreting the requirements given to deliver consistent information and processes in line with the Firm's policies.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate is:

• A salary between £40k - £50k
