We are recruiting for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in the LE2 area of Leicester. Your role will be to support both payroll and accounts function, including providing a comprehensive accounting service to the office by maintaining an efficient and accurate workload. Principal

Responsibilities:
Processing wages on a weekly/monthly basis Holiday calculations, overtime, deductions & amendments, time and attendance Starters and Leavers management Process Agency timesheets on a weekly basis Reconcile and submit pension & Bacs reports for all wages groups Managing employees' queries in respect of payroll Processing Accident reports (including claims paperwork) Assist with reception duties in line with business requirements Posting invoices Periodic reconciliation Filing & General Admin of paperwork Assist in preparation of Audit files Adhoc tasks as and when needs arise within the company Complying with company Health and Safety policies and procedures The Ideal Candidate: Previous payroll, accounts and supporting reception experience Flexible team player Excellent communication skills and attention to details is paramount Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload Available to start ideally immediately Working Pattern: Days - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with ½ hour for lunch To view our Smart Solutions Privacy Notice please go to: http://www.smartsolutions.co.uk/privacy/ This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/86974230
