Responsibilities:
To provide an overall finance support/processing service to various clients in a flexible manner, ensuring that an effective, efficient and customer focussed service is delivered within required KPI, PI and activity timescales. To work as part of a team using an adult care case management system for service users requiring Non-Residential, Residential and Nursing Care. To manage work load and prioritise tasks effectively. To deal with routine correspondence and telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature pertaining to service user's financial details and the payments to service providers. To deal with daily incoming and outgoing post for the residential and non-residential teams within agreed timescales and deadlines. To work together with your colleagues in reviewing and updating procedures to improve quality and consistency. To maintain effective working relationships with Lincolnshire County Council staff, providers of services, service users, and other professionals. To maintain computer and manual filing systems. Such other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the post and with the agreement of the post holder. Key Skills: Bring your enthusiasm and passion for the role and we will provide excellent on the job training for you to be a success. If you already have experience in a similar financial role and environment or knowledge of financial procedures then we want to hear from you Knowledge of Adult Social Care would be advantageous. You will have responsibility for calculating payments both to individuals and providers, so all that we ask is that you have a good level of education - GCSE C or above in English and Maths or proven literacy and numeracy skills as well as competences in Microsoft applications and/or computerised financial systems.
