Our client, a successful global business is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join their busy finance team. This award-winning business has experienced continued growth in recent years by consistently focusing on the quality delivery of its core business and the introduction of new and innovative products. This is a newly created key financial role and reports into the Group Financial Controller. As Finance Business Partner you will be at the forefront of ensuring that the adoption of the new global CRM and accounting system is successfully integrated across numerous different European regions. You will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the business processes in place are effective, efficient and fit for purpose. This is an opportunity for an ambitious accountant to add invaluable financial and technical support within a dynamic forward-thinking team and to forge strong relationships across this business' entities. You will be a key member of the group finance team as well as the wider business and you will work closely with the lead consultants delivering the new systems project. Another key trait needed for this role is the ability to work independently and find solutions which in turn will drive continuous improvement. The finance team is committed to process improvements and you will be given the opportunity to drive projects of this nature. The job Lead the implementation of new CRM & finance system across the group Establish yourself as the new system 'super user' and support roll out of it Work closely with and lead on the training of finance teams globally Development and adoption of financial software to speed up processes, adopt best practice and drive efficiencies Create a culture of continuous improvement within the finance teams across the globe Support the global entity teams in reviewing and enhancing their business processes Ensure stringent internal controls are in place to keep risk to a minimum Liaise with overseas finance teams to understand and analyse financial results. The person specification Strong financial accounting background combined with a professional accountancy qualification Ideally be degree qualified in accounting, business or a related discipline Aptitude and strong appetite to develop systems and processes in order to drive efficiencies that benefit the business Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel Good practical understanding of IFRS. Demonstrate a collaborative style of working and the ability to establish good working relationships at all levels Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, and both written and verbal communication skills Strong communicator with the ability to communicate complex financial matters to non-technical experts Please note the role will involve travel to overseas subsidiaries Salary & Benefits Salary is up to £45,000 per annum Holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays Pension scheme Company health scheme Free car parking How to apply To apply please submit your CV, salary details and a cover note outlining the reasons why you would like to be considered for the post and how you meet these requirements.
