Job Description An opportunity has arisen within the compliance function for a dynamic individual who can assist the team with its financial crime prevention responsibilities and oversight. This is a temporary assignment for six months Main duties of the role will be: Undertake reviews of accounts that have failed standard verification and assist the team with various oversight functions. Ability to work under pressure and escalate queries to the Assistant Manager as soon as reasonably practicable; Ad-hoc duties relating to financial crime and risk mitigation Understand the role of the Authorised Corporate Director; the company's regulatory obligations as ACD or on a delegated basis, and the implications to the business Adherence to Fund Solutions' policies and procedures. In particular to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with procedures to enable the on-going mitigation of business risk. Although full training will be given and competency sign off will occur, applicants should have an understanding of AML processes and controls along with knowledge of the regulatory and legislative environment. A major part of your role will be to analyse and problem solve and to escalate findings where necessary. You must also have the ability to explain your findings to your line report and senior members of the team. Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in MS packages with competent abilities Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet and manage strict deadlines Excellent customer service focus and an ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills Experience within financial services Desired competencies: Takes personal responsibility for delivering a level of service that often exceeds customer expectations and is strong at managing relationships; Is results focused going beyond focusing on agreed goals to create new and stretching challenges; and Demonstrates a strong ability to problem solve and make decisions being able to appropriately analyse issues, drawing on expert advice, consulting and collaborating, taking decisions.
