Working from the offices just North of Saffron Walden you will be assisting with the month end duties and producing detailed reporting and analysis across three days.

An emerging business in the science and research industry who are showing no signs of slowing down are in need of a Part-Time Assistant Accountant to support the current Saffron Walden based team. The Part-Time Assistant Accountant will sit within an experienced team, operating within a fantastic working environment and facilities.

Description

The Part-Time Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Prepare timely and accurate month-end journals relating to accruals, prepayments and recharges
• Produce reports and provide analysis in line with the needs to the business
• Produce accurate operational and financial monthly reports providing business managers with key information
• Production of various financial reports including profitability analysis and reconciliations
• Raise the departmental purchase orders as and when required
• Assist with ongoing process and system improvements
• Responsibility over the payroll processes

Profile

The Part-Time Assistant Accountant will be:

• Experienced in a science and research business would be advantageous
• AAT/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified
• A number of years within a finance role
• Confident in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
• An accurate individual with excellent attention to detail
