My client is a well-established business in the wider Southampton area looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join the team.

Description

As an Assistant Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Payroll preparation and new starter administration.

• Maintaining HR ledgers.

• Prepare and execute bi-weekly payment runs.

• Prepare monthly accounts in accordance to month end checklist.

• Keep Balance Sheet notes accurate and up to date.

• Prepare VAT returns.

• General office administration.

• Ad-hoc accounting duties as and when required including assisting with purchase ledgers and credit control

Profile

• Solid understanding of the full Accounting process.
• Well-established Analytical, Communication and Organisational skills.
