This is a senior role within the organisational matrix structure, working closely with fellow directors, chief officers and board members. The role reports to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, and will develop and be responsible for all operational elements of finance ranging from tax, treasury and technical accounting through to budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.
The organisation is a statutory levy board funded by its member as an independent organisation (independent of both commercial industry and of Government) with the purpose of inspiring and supporting its members .
To be responsible for the finance team in all operational respects whilst working closely with the Directorate and Executive Boards. The Finance team are key business partners for the whole organisation, responsible for operating and maintaining the financial systems including monitoring spend of our levies in a complex legal environment. The team are responsible for maintaining an appropriate public sector control environment, whilst working positively and constructively with colleagues around the business.
