In brief, your responsibilities will include: - proactive management of an allocated customer base and other key accounts - recording and entering all BACS receipts, allocating cheques against outstanding sales invoices - resolution of all queries and short payments - checking credit limits and releasing held orders - running management and customer reports, chasing and legal letters and updating all relevant parties - building strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and third parties - chasing payments to recover company debt As the ideal applicant, you will demonstrate a strong level of experience built within a Credit Controller post over recent years, which will enable you to fit comfortably into this role, and develop your customer base accordingly. You will need to be confident and comfortable engaging with all manner of internal and external stakeholders, as befits a Credit role, and able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
