MAT Contract ending April 2020 Our client are currently looking for a switched on and driven Accounts Payable Assistant for a Maternity Cover Contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who has 2-3 years' experience in an all round Finance Assistant position who would really like to broaden their AP skillset. responsibilities:
Processing staff expenses Insuring all invoices are authorised Assist with payment run in GBP and Foreign currency and follow up with invoices blocked for payment Answer supplier queries promptly and professionally Ensure all documents are cleared in SAP system Processing of rebate invoices New vendor creation process Vendor account maintenance in SAP Facilitate with AP Month end closing within the deadline and journal postings Remittance and balance confirmation request from suppliers Process purchase order and vendor invoices Refund of staff purchase account balance Other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager Skills and previous experience needed: Minimum of one years' experience within a finance/accounting role Preferably studying AAT or AAT qualified Strong MS Excel skills including Pivot Table and V Look up's (you will be tested) Knowledge of SAP or a similar software Strong and clear communication skills both written and verbal Organised and able to work to tight deadlines Keen to learn and a 'real fire in the belly' type attitude Able to commit to the role until April 2020 We are an independent recruitment agency who are celebrating our 40th year of supporting local candidates find local opportunities.
