Finance Assistant - are you fascinated by Finance and want to learn more? Then this is the Finance Assistant role for you You must have worked in at least 1 previous Finance role (preferably in a small or medium sized business) and therefore be experienced working in a business office environment. We don't mind whether that's in Payroll, Credit Control, Bookkeeping or even general Finance Administration, but whatever your Finance experience is, we want you to be excited about a career in Finance The role is initially temporary but has the scope to become yours permanetly As our Finance Assistant your duties will include: Processing and review of all supplier and contractor invoices Manage Contractor invoices including following up queries such as discrepancies or missing timesheets Issuing invoices to customers on a daily basis Assist with the payments process Bank reconciliations VAT returns and reconciliations Credit card reconciliations Monthly compulsory reporting Issuing contracts Calculating commissions Assist in completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations Full ownership of the credit control process including the preparation of weekly credit control reports Liaising with HMRC regarding PAYE, student loans and VAT APPLY NOW Send your CV and a short cover email telling us why you're perfect for this role - don't forget to include the line "I'm the Finance Assistant you need" We believe we can only achieve true success with a team of diverse people and ideas No terminology in this Finance Assistant advert is designed to discriminate on grounds of gender, race, colour, religion, creed, disability, age, sex or sexual orientation or any other class protected by applicable law
