An exciting opportunity to join an expanding business as an assistant accountant. The assistant accountant will be reporting to the accountant and supporting them with management accounts, statutory reporting, analysis work, budgeting and forecasting and business partnering to start with. The role will develop as the individual settles into the team and company. The role requires someone that is late stage AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA studiers. The business has expanded over the last 10 years and now have a turnover in excess of £80m and are looking to expand that to £100m in the next few years. The business has a supportive management structure and is looking to help the successful candidate qualify going forward. Duties: Complete management reports - Budget to actuals, balance sheet and P&L Weekly cashflow analysis Assist the FD in the budgeting process Ad-hoc analysis and project work Assist in Statutory accounts preparation Accruals and prepayments Inter Company accounting Assist with group reporting and management accounts Monthly KPI report Person spec: Excel with Pivot tables and V-Lookups Part qualified AAT/ACCA/ CIMA or ACA Team player
