The International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) Relationship Director role is based within HSBC's Commercial Banking Division (CMB). International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is the Division's international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of CMB customers within the Large Corporate and Mid - Corporate segments. The ISB strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The ISB business is a significant contributor of revenue to CMB and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 50 countries worldwide managing over 35,000 subsidiary client relationships. The role of the Relationship Director is a full relationship management role to engage with our existing and prospective customers to help them realise their ambitions. Your key aim as a Relationship Director with HSBC will be operate person of influence to our ISB customers where you will also be responsible for customer service excellence to our existing and prospective customers Your responsibilities will include: Supporting customers and placing their needs at the forefront of all that we do, setting world class standards Work collaboratively with other Global Businesses, Product and Service Partners to identify opportunities to connect customers to opportunities and strengthen the relationship Seeking new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to identify new business opportunities Building a network of business introducers in the local professional and business community Adhere to structures and processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements The ideal candidate for this role will have: Experience working in Corporate Banking. Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Payments and Cash Management (PCM), Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF), Global Markets Demonstrated experience of providing excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve service delivery Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes Knowledge of international banking markets The base location for this role is Southampton or Reading.
