Management Accountant

Your new company
My client is a local government body based in Central London. They are currently recruiting a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing a range of financial services to principal and senior managers that enable them to deliver departmental services cost effectively and efficiently. This will include, preparing financial information and providing advice and support to Directorate and department staff on the management and monitoring of budgets. You will prepare regular financial monitoring information to support Finance Managers and you will liaise with budget holders for the allocation and setting up of Directorate/Department budgets. Furthermore, you will implement and maintain robust financial management systems to record and report on funds received from external sources including liaising with departmental heads as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential to be training for a CCAB body qualification where you have had experience of providing advice and support on the full financial cycle, which will include budget preparation. It is essential to have experience of developing and maintaining financial management systems.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package working for a prestigious local government body in an excellent Central London location.
