A highly reputable and unique business based in North Kent is looking to recruit an experienced ACCA/CIMA Finance Manager to be responsible for the day to day operations of the Finance function. The successful candidate will be required to manage a small team whilst reporting into the CFO. The ideal candidate will have a background working within Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering and be fully qualified. Responsibilities:
Full monthly reconciliation including full balance sheets. Provide monthly reports to key Directors. Key point of contact for audit processes. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company Research and analyse financial reports and market trends Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company. Person Specification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Essential) Previous experience working within Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering. Experience managing a small team. A team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn. Strong organisational & time management skills
