Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are delighted to be exclusively partnering with an industry leader new to the Bicester area, who seek to appoint an Accounts & Credit Control Manager to join and lead their small Finance team over the years ahead. The chief responsibilities will include: - management and motivation of 4 direct reports; 1x Credit Supervisor, 1x Credit Controller and 2x Finance Assistant - setting monthly collection targets and ensuring control of the ledgers - authorisation of new credit accounts and opening new accounts - authorisation of credit notes and sales ledger journals - management of all month-end processes including supplier payments, petty cash, accruals and nominals - monthly balancing of general ledger accounts - management of accounts payable function - full cash management and bank reconciliations, calculating future foreign currency requirements As the ideal applicant, you are expected to have been in an Accounting role for a number of years, in order to have developed strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead others in the completion of month-end closure and reporting. You will be comfortable working closely with other experienced staff members, in a commercial environment, and taking ownership for your work.
