Day to day duties: Ownership of the statutory accounting process under UK GAAP Ownership of group reporting processes under group Accounting Standards Develop and update accounting policies and procedures Provide technical accounting support to other finance functions Ownership of all elements of taxation, including Corporation Tax, payroll taxes and VAT Treasury management and cash-flow forecasting, including board pack commentary and recommendations around cash management Own and run the monthly balance sheet review and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations Proactively highlight treasury/cash flow/capex considerations to senior management Line management of three qualified team members Required experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance role Excellent IT skills Experience in Financial Services Sector - desirable Artis Recruitment provide specialist recruitment services within HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Contact and Executive Search.
