responsibilities:

• Review and post into the general ledger
• Analyse drivers behind commission changes
• Review, analyse and approve commission payments
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable Team to release payments
• Preparing reinvestment instructions and liaising with Middle Office Accounting teams
• Responsible for pre-month end processes and loading month end accruals
• Work with the Client Agreement team to set up new agreements and banking details
• Monitoring returned payments, working closing with Accounts Payable and Client Agreements team
• Month end reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations for the control framework Skills required:
• Strong academics and mathematical/analytical skills
• Minimum A Level Qualified or Equivalent
• Must be computer literate with strong excel skills (v lookups, pivot tables, sumif etc.) and have the ability to learn new systems Personal qualities:
• Ambitious and driven, with strong attention to detail
• A desire to pursue a career in Finance/Accounting Entry requirements:
• Five GCSE grades C - A (or 4-9), including Maths and English Benefits:

What's next: After your Accounting apprenticeship progress into a full-time role as Junior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Junior Tax Consultant or Audit Assistant. You can also complete the ACCA qualification into Chartered Accountancy
