The CIPD Digital Marketing team have a permanent opportunity for a Database Support & Reporting Executive to join them. You will provide data support, meaningful analysis and reporting to enable and improve CIPD customer and market understanding across the business. Key responsibilities - Provide a data intelligence service to internal customers, applying knowledge of CIPD's data, products and services to improve analysis and understanding, using Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics and Social Studio Support and advice internal customers on Marketing Cloud data good practice, including filtering, SQL, data extraction, encrypting files for sending data to third parties, as well as house-keeping Compile and maintain numerous 'Data Views' using SQL within Marketing Cloud to join daily data imports with Salesforce synced data, and on occasion manually imported data, to enable teams across the whole business (CIPD UK, CIPD International, Branches) Use problem solving skills to identify data issues and suggest solutions, taking responsibility and liaising with internal and/or external suppliers Work with Marketing teams on developing automated customer journeys, selecting data, and testing. Contribute to Marketing Cloud support documentation on data and data management Coach and train members of the team on new processes and techniques Ensure data quality is maintained by checking accurate and up-to-date data is stored on our databases, along with continually thinking of ways to improve the quality of this data. Help put into practice any new ideas that will improve the quality of CIPD data Participate in the ongoing development of the Institute's databases (such as Integra, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce) to ensure the effective integration of data, providing support in testing new systems and processes to ensure they work and are user-friendly. Knowledge, skills & experience - Of graduate calibre Excellent data manipulation skills Great attention to detail Excellent knowledge of SQL, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Access) Deadline-focused, prioritisation, numerical & analytical skills Basic programming skills (desirable) Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud / Salesforce, Cognos 10 reporting, Integra, Survey Monkey (desirable) Relevant IT or Marketing qualification (desirable) Please note, this advert is due to close on 25 June 2019 There has never been a more interesting or important time to join us.
