The Supply Chain function provides the main interface between the company and the supply base, developing and building strong relationships and driving process improvements. The department satisfies the company need to support sales through the management of a global supply base in line with defined business parameters helping to maintain the company as a market leader in supply chain management. To act as the Trade, Customs and Compliance subject matter expert regionally and be the primary reference for all import, export and regulatory matters. Develop, maintain and disseminate thorough and current knowledge of international trade laws and regulations applicable to business activity. Drive the development, implementation and governance of required International Trade process and policy to ensure full alignment with international legislation, pertinent to the import and export of Aerospace goods and associated technology. Align all processes, controls and policies with regional counterparts. The role is to lead the Trade and Compliance team in the UK and the suitable candidate will have extensive experience as a manager in a similar role and deep knowledge expertise around International Trade and Compliance and the following BIS/ ECO/ EAR/ ITAR regulations/HTS Codes and the functional areas of import/export, customs procedures and documentation and UK/EU and US export control licensing regulations. Also have significant experience in the development of business policies and process governance within an international business.
