Robert Walters: Assistant Finance Manager - Commercial I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager - Commercial , on a permanent basis within the South Birmingham area for a leading organisation within their field, the salary for this position is up to £48,000 per annum maximum depending on experience. Please note: It is essential that the ideal candidate is ACA, CIMA or ACCA
Salary:
Up to £48,000 per annum Essential Requirements of Assistant Finance Manager - Commercial: Review of operational working capital components and recommending / driving actions to improve performance Implementation of standard monthly reporting to be used in the business Assist in training of operational teams in the use of business reporting to understand and improve their financial performance Analysis of financial performance highlighting to operations director key points to be discussed at monthly review Partner operations director in monthly review process, ensuring financial actions are carried out Preparation of client reporting and prompt response to any queries Attend designated client meetings Management of two Level 1 Finance Assistants, carrying out regular 1-2-1 meetings with clear and measurable objectives set. Implementation and tracking of key initiatives across the business area Investigating and supporting cashless positions within the business, escalating key risks / opportunities Work with operational teams to prepare budget and forecasts for are of responsibility in line with UK and sector guidelines Analysis of forecasts and budgets, highlighting to operations director key points to be discussed in the reviews Partner operational director in the forecast review process Ensure revenue and profit movements are clearly bridged Partner operational teams in preparation and modelling of renegotiation opportunities Monthly balance sheet review for area of responsibility, escalating key risks / opportunities to FP&A lead This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/86945861
