Adecco are seeking a payroll Team lead to work with one of our Clients based in Belfast. You will lead the Payroll Team in providing Payroll service to the company's clients by adhering to defined service level agreements and statutory requirements, ensuring accurate payment every month. Responsibilities To manage the Payroll Team in ensuring that all clients staff are paid accurately, and that payslips, statutory returns and reports are produced and validated in a timely manner Ensure appropriate workload allocation, sharing of knowledge, review performance and instil a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service To undertake day-to-day payroll activity to ensure practical knowledge and smooth running of the service, enabling provision of cover on all payrolls. Ensure that business goals are clearly communicated to Payroll Administrators and linked to individual and team objectives. Ensure compliance with statutory and pension scheme requirements, eg, P11Ds, auto-enrolment Validation and reconciliation of post payroll output and the loading of costing files to General Ledger Preparation and reconciliation of month end payments to external agencies, such as HMRC, pensions Manage all year end statutory returns required by, for example, HMRC Keep up to date with relevant regulations/legislation, taking action and implementing changes where necessary. Ensure Payroll team are fully informed of any such changes and all working procedures are up to date. Requirments Two-year Payroll experience Ability to lead and manage a team in fast-paced business environment High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel essential Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key business stakeholders including colleagues, Management, clients and auditors Adaptable to change and open to new ideas with a growth mindset Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on pre-set objectives Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
