We are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our growing Finance team at Bespoke Health & Social Care. Working as part of our head office team in Nottingham city centre, you will report to the Finance Director and manage the Payroll team on a day to day basis (currently a team of 4 Payroll Officers). With a regional field-based team throughout the UK of approximately 450 Support Workers and Nurses, you will be responsible for ensuring the weekly payroll for this team is processed efficiently and accurately. We are a growing, fast paced, highly commercial business and therefore you will play an important role in ensuring our payroll processes remain efficient and effective as our team continues to grow. Your main responsibilities will include: To be the main point of contact for resolving escalated payroll queries Providing weekly and ad hoc management reports Analysis of the weekly Sales & Margin report Running weekly payroll journal reports Creating and uploading BACS payments Submitting info to HMRC (e.g. FPS's and EPS's) Calculate and maintain holiday accruals Maintaining PAYE/NIC & Apprenticeship Levy reconciliations Training new staff on the payroll software Overseeing the payroll aspect of TUPE transfers Conducting quarterly 1-1's and team meetings Candidates should have: Ideally, you will have previous experience of managing a team, however experienced Payroll Officers looking for their first leadership role will be considered Previous experience of processing high volume payroll Previous experience of working in a service industry would be advantageous Advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly A hands-on can-do attitude A confident communicator, both on the phone and by email Excellent attention to detail Exceptional organisation, with the ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you About Us: Bespoke Health & Social Care are a leading, specialist provider of complex care staffing services to individuals throughout the UK.
