The successful candidate will report into the CFO of Impellam Group and will be responsible for the management and strategic direction of the Company's global tax planning, reporting, audits and compliance. You will provide oversight for all applicable taxes across the group whilst managing the UK based tax teams and the Tax Manager of Impellam North America. The role is a commercial role so the ability to work globally across the subsidiaries and business areas to provide advice on tax implications is a key part of the role. As Impellam is a staffing company, an understanding of employment tax matters is critical. Essential skills and experience - You'll have a Professional certification - Chartered Accountant and/or Finance degree and Chartered Tax Adviser (or equivalent) - Its essential that you have In-house tax experience in the staffing and recruitment industry - You'll have acquired a comprehensive understanding of employment tax matters which is critical to the role - Your Corporate Global Tax experience will include leading all tax activities in multiple countries specifically including detailed knowledge of UK and US taxes - Knowledge and experience of international tax, transfer pricing, VAT and payroll taxes is essential. - You'll have an natural ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the business Location The role is primarily based at our Impellam office in Capability Green, Luton, Bedfordshire however there will be regular national and international travel.
