Within the new unified M&G Prudential Finance function we have an exciting new opportunity to join us as the Group Reporting Process Manager. This role will be integral to establishing the end-to-end reporting processes and timeline for M&G Prudential. It is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong stakeholder management skills to be involved in establishing the financial reporting for a new listed group. Main responsibilities of the role: Develop and manage the working day timetable for the M&G Prudential quarterly, half-yearly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring Business unit and other stakeholder agreements in place Ensure timelines in place for all key external reporting, monitoring performance against timetable and escalating issues or delays to senior management Manage all aspects of the external reporting documentation for the Group, including set up, production management and control for HY Report, Annual Report and Accounts and S2 reporting Support production of other Group finance documentation such as Audit Committee and Disclosure Committee papers Responsible for ensuring appropriate governance and controls for key Group external deliverables are maintained and monitored according to requirements To support the delivery of initiatives required as part of the demerger project to ensure Group reporting processes meet all reporting and control requirements of a newly listed plc Facilitate Group and BU lessons learned to ensure on-going development of reporting processes, ensuring best practice adopted where possible Provide process support to Group finance change initiatives To develop and maintain effective working relationships within M&G Prudential finance and the wider finance community Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes and a reduction in M&G Prudential's operational risk To be successful in this role you'll: Be a qualified Prince2 practitioner (or equivalent) Have Lean Six Sigma green belt certification (or equivalent) Have good knowledge of finance reporting processes, ideally within a Group environment Have strong skills in MS Word and PowerPoint. Have experience of influencing at all levels of the organisation up to senior management levels Have experience of working in an environment with a strong controls focus Have some experience of finance change programmes would be beneficial Have experience of managing external reporting such as annual reports is desirable Have the ability to work under pressure with no compromises in quality Be a self-starter, able to work under own initiative and as part of a team Have the ability to communicate effectively and influence effectively with productive, successful relationships with demanding stakeholders Have the ability to assess problems and react quickly and decisively, taking tough decisions where needed or escalating issues as appropriate People who work at M&G Prudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit.
