Our client is a leading radio company located in London's West End, a short walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station. Due to growth across their 3 entities, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their accountancy team.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

• Reporting to the Finance Director in a team of 2 - managing 3 separate companies

• Sales & Purchase Ledger - sales and purchase invoices, supplier payments, supplier queries, credit cards, expenses

• Credit control

• Bank reconciliations

• VAT returns, P11D schedules, Fixed asset register

• Manage outsourced Payroll function (for the smaller sister companies)

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with preparation of management accounts and budgets

• Assist with annual audits and ad hoc projects as required.

Must have experience of:

Bank Reconciliations

VAT returns

BACS payments

Supplier Payments

Balance Sheet reconciliations

Ideally experience of:

Accounting system EXCHEQUER

Preparing Audit schedules

Deferred income

Fixed Asset register

Payroll

Job Offer

Salary of £32,000 - £36,000
