A leading highly ethical commercial organisation are recruiting for a Finance Analyst position. This organisation operate in the retail sector and have a greater cause than making money. Reporting to a passionate Senior Finance Analyst you will be able to embrace and influence real change for the greater good.

Your new role
You will support the division in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, simplifying the process and checking for accuracy and quality. You will develop the use of analysis to support and evaluate business decisions. Working closely with Heads of Departments and business partner with them to create a customer focused approach. You will be tasked with developing the monthly variance analysis, arranging regular meetings with budget holders and ensuring queries and amendments are dealt with efficiently. You will be responsible for developing divisional performance analysis, including the monthly KPI dashboard. In addition you will perform month/year end processes, including advice on accruals, prepayments and deferred income. You will assist in assist Heads of Department and staff in understanding management accounts and other reports.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be part qualified ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA studier. Key skills that will ensure that you will succeed at this role will include being an excellent communicator, hardworking individual, immaculate attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will need to be able to work under pressure and being a confident self-starter.
