Management Accounts Manager position within a leading Accountancy & Advisory solutions business offering responsibility for the financial management of SME businesses and career progression to FC level. THE COMPANY This established Accountancy & Advisory solutions business provides SME, Owner-Managed and Mid-Market Corporate organisations with Management Accounting, Business Advisory and Strategic Finance consultancy services. The business has grown significantly in recent years and is now looking to appoint a Senior Manager of the future. THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join the Finance team as Management Accounts Manager and take responsibility for producing detailed Monthly Management Accounts and Analysis reports for a number of growing SME businesses, managing / coordinating a team of Accounts staff and developing reporting systems. As Management Accounts Manager your responsibilities will include: Managing a small portfolio of SME and Mid-Market Corporate business clients (c.£1m - £20m t/o in size) Producing Monthly Management Accounts including Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow forecasts for all clients Investigating variances and providing clients with full commentary and narrative Presenting accounts to clients at Board Meetings and acting as advisor to Management Teams Involvement in client Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning procedures Managing workflow within the department and supporting team members THE PERSON You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following: Experience of producing and presenting Management Accounts Background within Accountancy Practice or Commerce & Industry (min.5-7 years) Strong IT skills (Excel, Quickbooks online / Xero) ACA / ACCA / CIMA Part or Fully Qualified (or QBE) A strong desire to progress your career to Senior Management level within a growing service sector business.
