Service Logistics and LLP are global business units that are targeting to continue their strong growth records. This role is based in the small global team that supports the business based in the regions (APAC, EMEA and Americas). The team is responsible for reporting the financial results, controlling the global overheads/projects and providing business partnering support. In the role of Financial Analyst you will be working on; Reporting: Assisting in the reporting of global business, producing monthly reports and completing analysis through liaising with regional finance leads and reviewing data. Controlling: Responsible for controlling the central global overheads for global SL and LLP, (reporting, forecasting/budgeting, balance-sheet). This involves working with controllers in other regions e.g. US and Singapore to manage cost centres based there. There are also regular projects to support. Key Responsibilities in this role will include; Reporting Produce SL & LLP monthly, BRM and budget reports Perform analysis into key variances and collate commentary Assist in creation of reporting metrics/ dashboards Support BRM process in producing schedules and analysing variances Load monthly actual, forecast and budget data templates into essbase tool. Ensure data reconciles with control checks Data quality controls of feeder reporting systems - R12, Varese, SF, Contract Database Undertake reporting improvement projects - to include contract lifecycle (salesforce - new business/renewals); customer profitability; Power BI; dashboards Controlling Liaise with the controllers for the Global SL & LLP cost centres that are hosted in US, Singapore, Germany and UK. Perform the full purchase processing function for central SL/LLP team - external & intercompany (including set up new suppliers, receipting,resolve queries) Prepare cross charge journals and ICE requests Prepare and post accruals and prepayment journals Produce standard reports, distribute to cost centre managers with commentary (and hold reviews as required) Prepare spend analysis reports for IT, projects and overheads Prepare monthly balance-sheet analysis/ reconciliation Ensure general ledger control checks are maintained Liaise with other inter-company partners or other internal partners Complete budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc analysis for central overheads Assist with other admin or finance duties as and when required Working as part of team and establishing good relationships with internal stakeholders. Build and maintain good relationships with regional financial controllers in regional centres (US, Singapore and Brussels). Key skills and experience in this role will include: Very well organised with great attention to detail. Team player, flexible and can do attitude Good verbal and written communication in order to collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies, functions and levels of seniority Strong Excel skills- strong reporting skills and the ability to use Pivot-tables & VLookUps Experience of posting journals/general ledger and purchase ledger Requires solid basic knowledge and experience of accounting processes Familiar with Oracle accounting system and running basic essbase (or similar) reporting (preferred) Part qualified and actively working to full qualification (preferred) What will you get in return?
