Accounts Payable Supervisor Hours of work: 9-5 Monday-Friday
Salary:
Up to £25k per annum REED Accountancy are working exclusively with a business based in North Birmingham with a view to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor on a permanent basis to join their established finance team Duties include but are not limited to: Line managing a team of 3 AP Clerks Oversee the whole AP function Report into the Financial Controller Review processes and help to streamline them when necessary Ensure that all suppliers are paid on time and via the correct payment terms Building good business relationships with colleagues and suppliers Liaising with suppliers should any queries arise Reconciling bank accounts and petty cash Providing monthly balance sheets and completing an action plan to resolve any outstanding items Any ad hoc duties as required Person Specification: Previous experience of managing a team within an accounts payable capacity Able to remain calm under pressure Able to act as a mentor to the AP team Proactive and focused on getting things done quickly but accurately Able to recognise any gaps in the team's training and impart knowledge to minimise them At least 1 year experience in an AP supervisor role Please apply now if you meet the criteria above
