This leading international Private Equity firm; focused on mid-market Private Equity and Infrastructure investment, are looking to hire a Financial Planning and Strategy Associate to work closely with the CFO and strategy managing partner. The core focus of the role is to operate, maintain and develop the Infrastructure business line financial models and to provide support to the Managing Partners on a range of financial modelling, strategy and planning activities. Specifically your role responsibilities will include: Provide support and complete analysis for both the Managing Partners of the Infrastructure business line across a range of business strategy, planning and operational tasks Support on the analysis and implementation of key strategic initiatives and corporate projects. Including for example, M&A transactions, fundraising and other business development activities Operating, maintaining and developing the consolidated Infrastructure business line financial models. This work will include preparing regular outputs for the group financial planning process including financial analysis for strategic plans, annual budgets and regular forecasts Co-ordinating with the Group Strategy team, supporting them with financial modelling and analysis Operating, maintaining and developing the infrastructure financial model. This stand-alone model forms a key reporting tool for the financial planning, liquidity management, budgeting and forecasting. To contribute to the asset valuation process including preparation of valuation templates for each asset and maintaining asset valuation data in the financial models To prepare analysis of non-statutory financial information for the Infrastructure business line. To assist in the preparation of local team cost centre budgets and their consolidation into the business line consolidated budget To provide support to ad-hoc business development projects The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified; working at Manager level within Transaction Services within the big 4 or equally having performed a financial analyst or FP&A role in industry after leaving the big 4. To be considered your modelling skills must be excellent - you will have had to build financial models from scratch. You must also be highly literate, numerate and capable of dealing with senior stakeholders. Remuneration will be exceptionally competitive, with base compensation in the region of £60,000 - £70,000.
