SALARY:
£18,000 - £22,000 BENEFITS: Company Pension, Life Cover, Parking HOURS: Full Time Mon-Fri 37.5 Hours

Nottingham NG6 8WA DESCRIPTION: Our client is the East Midlands leading flooring distributor, providing the distribution channel between suppliers and customers. The company is part of a major PLC that is the leading distributor of floor coverings in Europe. Due to continued success the company is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded company working in a small team. JOB ROLE (not limited to): This is a varied and interesting role covering Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Cashiering duties. The purchase ledger role will include processing invoices and resolving queries. The sales ledger and credit control role involves processing and taking customer payments, reconciling customer accounts, debt chasing and resolving customer queries. Assisting in the day to day workings of the office, talking to customers on the telephone is a large part of the role. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Ideally having some experience working within an accounts department. Have an excellent and confident telephone manner (essential). Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Be highly computer literate with experience of Microsoft Excel & Outlook. Be able to work in a team and on own initiative.
