Our client is a growing manufacturing business based in Reading

Description

As the Finance Manager you are responsible for transactional accounting, cashflow, budgeting and reconciliation work.

Key to this role is your ability to improve processes, optimise finance and make the running of the business more efficient.

Profile

To be successful we are looking for a Finance Manager that can demonstrate they have had to take a poorly performing finance function and turned it around. Specifically, we need someone with the soft skills and technical aptitude to get the best out of people, make the process more efficient, create templates, document processes and help reduce month end close as well as cash flow management.

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA,CIMA or ACA) as a minimum and you will have demonstrable experience of vastly improving a finance department at a granular level ( eg: in the detail around AP/AR & payroll as well as monthly management account preparation, management reporting and month end close)

Job Offer

Our client is offering an initial 3 month contract that could be extended and is paying a daily rate of £300-350 per day.
