The Redline Group have an urgent job opportunity for an experienced Senior Customs Compliance Manager to join our global leading electronics manufacturing client based in Chelmsford, Essex. As a Senior Customs Compliance Manager, your job will be to ensure the business is aligned UK/EU Customs Community Directives and that they comply with changing requirements, including trusted trader programs such as AEO approval/compliance. Key responsibilities for the Senior Customs Compliance Manager job: - - Monitor the changing derivatives from import and export, ensuring compliance - Work as import specialist, providing assistance and guidance where necessary - Assist with investigations of any incidences of purported non-compliance with customs laws - Understand product classifications to comply with import & export regulations - Hold regular conference calls with regional import specialists/administrators - Perform audits on import specialists/administrators to develop a consistent measurable audit - Develop and deploy quality import training material Essential experience and background required: - - Practical experience implementing import trade compliance programs across multiple companies is mandatory. - Hands-on experience and extensive knowledge of EU/UK Customs including with freight agents - Experience in Binding Tariff Information ("BTIs"), evaluating MSS Data and Inward Processing Relief ("IPR") transactions a plus - Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to interact with persons at all levels - The ability to work independently and collaboratively to set and accomplish corporate objectives - In-depth knowledge of UK Customs regulations, valuation, classification and trade programs Apply Now Or for more information on the Senior Customs Compliance Manager job based in Chelmsford, Essex, please contact Tommy Beazley on 01582 878814 or email quoting reference TRB565/120.
