Robert Half Financial Services are recruiting for a private markets advisory and investor group based in the West End of London. They are seeking a qualified individual who has strong analytical, writing and communication skills, who takes initiative, works well under pressure and has strong attention to detail. This newly created Financial Controller role will report to the CFO and will manage the current team of 2 accountants. About the role: This is a very hands-on and top to bottom finance role, duties will include but will not be limited to: Management of day to day financial affairs from transactional level activity through to working with the auditors to finalize year end accounts. Leadership and development of the team of 2 finance professionals. Execution of a fast, accurate month end and quarter end close process. Balance sheet control, owning the numbers and taking the lead of improvement if needed. Presentation of monthly management accounts plus commentary. Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and reporting. Ongoing review of the effectiveness of financial controls and potential enhancement of reporting capability where needed. Overseeing general ledger activity, AP, AR and credit control. About the firm Founded in 2010, this advisory and investor firm has offices globally, including London (Mayfair), New York and Hong Kong. Since inception they have raised in the region of $25 billion for their clients, through a mix of primary fundraising, secondary transactions and direct deals. My client assists both fund managers in alternative asset classes and fund less sponsors raise capital through private placement. In addition, they also maintain a platform of direct investment and facilities in secondaries transactions. About you ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified 1-3 years PQE Hands on experience in preparing accounts preparation and an understanding of a corporate business.
