This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Accounts Payable Manager based in the area of Croydon. Start date: ASAP Hours: 35 hours Mon to Fri (09:00:AM - 05:00:PM)
Salary:
£17.64 PAYE or up to £30PH Umbrella TEMP 12 Months Responsible for the efficient operation of the Accounts Payable Team ensuring that invoices are paid in accordance with client policies, payment terms and regulatory requirements. To manage the client purchase card scheme ensuring compliance to the scheme rules, transaction approval and monthly reconciliation. A thorough understanding of financial controls and regulations To oversee and develop high quality processes and controls for monitoring P2P compliance within the client. To manage the efficient and effective delivery of projects related to the accounts payable service with the emphasis on projects related to invoice automation
• Advanced knowledge of an Accounts Payable function in a large organisation including knowledge of BACS and payment processing
• Advanced knowledge of major financial systems including particularly Oracle and MS Office.
• An understanding of the feeder systems operated by service departments e.g. Swift, OHMS.
• Experience of managing suppliers for a large organisation
• Experience in managing a large internal customer base
