Client: Castlefield Recruitment have recently been approached to recruit an assistant accountant to support the period following on from year-end. This Public Sector organisation require a part qualified accountant for 6 months, paying £18-23 per hour. The role will be based around the Manchester area. Duties: Full support for the management accounts functions Liaison with creditors, debtors and external agents Reconciliation of the balance sheet and assistance with journal Supporting profit/loss statements Auditing responsibilities and assistance with payroll reports Management of prepayments and accruals Aid with forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting Person: Part-qualified accountant Strong communication and Excel abilities Housing or Education experience would be greatly valued
