• Work with senior stakeholders to refine and improve the global view of the firms inventory
• Analyse large data sets to understand root causes and patterns
• Have an impact by driving change across IT, operations and trading teams
• Communicate complex data sets to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise way
• understand the front to back flow of information at a large financial organisation
• play a key role in roll out of data quality controls by defining the data quality rules, analysing exceptions, documenting and acting to remediate Your team: You'll be working in the Collateral Hub Controller team within Group Operations in London. The Collateral Hub Controller function safeguards the data within the Collateral Hub providing transparency and integrity of the data. The Collateral Hub Controller team forms part of the broader Funding & Optimisation team within Collateral Management which looks to optimise the use of collateral within UBS. Your expertise:
• Experience in a financial services/data science environment
• A bachelor's university degree
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft excel
• Understanding of sql and use of databases to manage large datasets is beneficial
• Understanding of reporting tools (Microstrategies / Business Objects / Tableau / Qlikview etc.) is beneficial
• Ability to maintain clear project plans, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings with stakeholders and respective owners Your colleagues: About us: Expert advice.
