Based in the busy Business Management department, your role will be hands on, and will include general bookkeeping, data entry and Vat work for a wide variety of musicians and bands and music companies (promoters, record labels, producers, festivals, talent agencies etc). You will gain exposure and receive training so you can use a range of software packages, particularly Xero and Quickbooks. To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant with between 6 months and 18 months experience working for a good quality accountancy practice firm, carrying out general bookkeeping and VAT duties. You must now be looking to upgrade to a medium size Central London (Zone 1) based firm where you will work with music related clients. A strong interest in music and working with music clients, in a bookkeeping based role, is essential. Experience of Xero and Quickbooks would be an advantage but not essential.
