£40,000 - £55,000What we're looking forWe are looking for a Pricing specialist with some insurance pricing skills and a genuine interest in Motor Pricing and Risk in particular. Motor insurance is a major department within our personal lines department, and it represents a crucial strategic product for DLG. We want to be the best at what we do, and motor is one of the key areas we focus on and we hope that you will bring your skills and experience to the team to help us work even better.You'll be motivated and driven, happy to work autonomouslyYou'll have strong analytical skillsYou must be a great communicator with strong relationship building skillsYou will have exposure to machine learning technologies within an insurance environmentYou will have good Radar experience within an insurance pricing modelling role with the ability to change and update models and algorithmsYou should have strong mathematical skills with the ability to interpret vast sets of data with easeWho you'll be working withReporting into Barbara Norman, Motor Risk Analysis and Control Manager, you will work alongside a team of Motor pricing professionals in our Personal Lines department, but you will also work with other teams including underwriters on projects and when, integrating changes to their models, constantly looking to improve and better the output.What you'll be doingYou will work with the wider team on a range of projects aimed at updating and developing all our Motor Risk Premium Models to enable the business to both price effectively and to manage risk through model outputs.Working using Emblem based analysis or for example rated area reviews, occupation reviews and vehicle classifications to support your recommendations and pricing structure.
