This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesStrategyDeliver on the LSS Europe Strategy Plan & Growth Initiatives for Europe across Financial Sponsors, Corporates & Commercial Real Estate ("CRE")BusinessResponsible for:All aspects of origination, structuring and execution of event-driven and acquisition financing activities across Financial Sponsors, Corporates and Commercial Real Estate including: o Preparation of client pitch books and other marketing materials o Due diligence and preparation / review of detailed financial models (including LBO & CRE) o Leading deal teams in obtaining internal approvals including business approvals, credit and underwriting memos, legal, LDU, Agency etc o Assisting in documentation negotiation and execution (incl. term sheets, facility agreements, loan booking / funding process) o Identification of cross-selling opportunities including FX & derivatives, DCM and transaction banking o Preparation and coordination of syndication materials o Ensuring all relevant internal approvals are in place prior to funding / signing, conformity with all relevant bank policies and procedures;Supervision, mentoring and training of juniors in the Corporate Finance pool Ad-hoc BPM duties including revenue monitoring and forecasts, senior management off-site presentations, cross-sell revenue allocations and moreProcessesManage internal process (RCAF, GCAF, PSR, FCC/ABC, BCAs, among others) Responsibility over assigned transactions (Portfolio Management); constant observance of Group's internal policies and requirements to assure transactions compliance and, if necessary, proceed with appropriate changes.People and Talent Contribute to skills development of Graduates and Summer Interns and those in the Corporate Finance pool on an ongoing basisRisk ManagementMinimize risk to the bank through deal structuring and portfolio managementClose coordination with CSDG / Loan Syndications teams to ensure balance sheet velocity and sell down of underwrite positions if applicable Assume accountability for credit risk of LSS customers and ensuring a continuous dialogue with GAMs/FAMs and relevant support areas to ensure that they are monitored and controlled. Once transactions have closed, coordination with Portfolio Analysis & Monitoring ("PAM") for the handover of event-based deals for ongoing monitoring of credit, covenant analysis etc Ensure business model adheres to SCB values and behavioursGovernance Adherence to Group's and Corporate Finance policies and proceduresRegulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
