Our client, an exciting and growing, Scandinavian owned tech firm are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their friendly team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this position will take full control of the Accounts Payable function for their UK business. The company are doing well and growing and they expect this role to grow with the successful candidate expected to hire and manage an AP Assistant over the next 3-6 months. Job Responsibilities - Taking full responsibility for incoming invoices to completing payment runs. - Managing all the UK ledgers in their entirety - Managing invoices, gaining authorisations, coding and posting onto accountancy software - Reconciling AP module and aging invoices are reviewed - Providing accruals schedule on a monthly basis - Reconciling supplier accounts against external statements - Providing copy invoices as/when requested - Identifying & analysing any variations in monthly accounts payable figures - Setting up bank payments - Updating groups' cash-flow forecast - Taking the lead with AP automation - Assisting with audit requests - Suggesting and potentially developing or streamlining processes Person Specification - Experience of taking full responsibility of the AP function - desirable - At least 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience - Excellent attention to detail - Good communication skills - Ability to negotiate with suppliers
