Location:
Loughborough Area Summary My Client, a privately-owned successful service sector SME firm based near Loughborough is seeking an Accountant / Company Bookkeeper to join their small team on a part-time permanent basis. As a small team, the role requires a candidate who is willing and able to play an active involvement in the success of the business. The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for all finance matters, providing support and advice to the Managing Director. Responsibilities include:
• Accounts payable,
• Accounts receivable,
• Bank reconciliations,
• Forecasting and cash flow reporting,
• Preparing management accounts for external Accountants,
• Budgets,
• Some administration. Reporting to: Managing Director Requirements You will have minimum five years' experience working in an accounts department and ideally hold a professional qualification (AAT or equivalent). Due to the nature of how the business operates, you must be willing and able to work independently, including being on occasion the sole person in the office whilst other team members are out on Client visits. You will possess excellent alpha-numeric and data entry skills, be a clear communicator (both verbal and written correspondence) and be confident in the use of Excel spreadsheets... ideally, have experience using Xero and/or Sage. Salary
• Appointment Type: Permanent


Salary:
£24k- £30k FTE per annum / £11.50 - £14.00ph (subject to experience)
• Hours: Part-time pro-rata (circa three days), negotiable depending on experience
• Holiday: 20STAT (rising to 25STAT in line with service)
