A prestigious Not for Profit organisation are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager (Finance Manager) on a temporary basis. This person will be responsible for the Accountants payable with some input into systems. The successful candidate will be able to temp until at least the 31st October 2019 with the strong possibility of the assignment being extended or made permanent. This role will have a focus on finance transactions and will play a key role in providing a reliable and accurate service for the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will lead the day to day accounts payable/receivable function, including line management of two Finance Officers. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with exceptional people management skills, with the confidence to make an immediate impact. We are looking for someone with great customer service skills, clear leadership qualities backed up with knowledge and understanding of the key accounting principles. The key essential criteria includes but is not limited to:
• Sage line 50 experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables & Vlookups).
• Experience managing the AP & AR function.
• Managing a team of two.
• Management Accounts Experience.
• Multi-currency experience Personal Experience:
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
