Assistant Financial Analyst - Europe Full Time, Permanent Package : £18,000 to £25,000 per annum Annual Company Bonus Study Support Working : Monday to Friday, 35 hours

Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire RG41 5TS This Assistant Financial Analyst is a newly created role due to the growth of the business and will primarily focus on providing support to the financial planning and analysis function. The person will report into the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager supporting work undertaken for the Group Controller and CFO. As the European and UK groups grow there will be the opportunity for the right individual to develop into a more senior European role but initially there will be a wide remit in a small team. Main
responsibilities:
Monthly reporting and consolidation - aiding the preparation and review of monthly reports for various stakeholders Financial planning and analysis - helping to identify key trends in data, presenting financial results to convey key messages and support internal and external reporting Management accounting - support the business leaders to track the performance of their markets with sound and insightful data and analysis, helping them to make risk and fact-based decision making Budgeting and forecasting - utilise multiple data sets and input from various stakeholders to assist and build reliable and flexible forward looking forecasts (short, mid and long term) Transaction services - gain an understanding of back office processing and controls of payments and procurement Ad hoc experience in other specialist functions such as tax, treasury and corporate finance Working with a range of our businesses and finance functions will provide experience of financial reporting, planning and control tools Knowledge, Skills & Experience required: Graduated (preferably Financial subject) with the desire to train as an Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) Study support for professional accounting qualification. Choice of providers. Excellent analytical skills Strong attention to detail and thoroughness Good communication skills (both oral and written), 2nd language preferably European desirable Computer literate with good excel skills Team player Ability to work well under pressure Proactively challenging the status quo and initiating change Ability to multi-task and prioritise workflow around tight deadlines Set up in mid-2015, Advantage Smollan is a European business owned by Advantage Solutions from the US, in combination with the Smollan Group of South Africa.
