A rapidly growing Retail Manufacturing company based in Bury is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join them on an initial 6 month contract with a view to go permanent. This is a brand-new position to support the growth of the company and you will be working closely with the Head of Finance and Commercial Finance Manager on a daily basis. Key aspects of the role will include: Act as a finance business partner to internal stakeholders in order to drive execution of major projects. Provide accurate and timely financial information to the marketing organization and monitor ongoing performance (e.g. profitability, revenue). Manage, co-ordinate and review the P&L submission as part of the local planning process (Sales & Operational Planning) Perform month-end closing processes, track performance against budgets, review run-rates, analyse variances and perform sensitivity analyses. Provide insightful financial analysis to assess impact of decisions and drive results Identify, implement, review and drive effective internal financial planning and reporting processes and controls. The successful candidate will be Qualified in ACCA/CIMA and have strong excel skills. Ideally you will have experience within a FMCG environment and SAP experience to be considered.
