Junior Finance Analyst/Credit Controller, Wimbledon £25,000 per annum For this role, we are looking for someone who wants to broaden their role outside of the core credit control function, to incorporate a broader analysis of business KPIs and management of key business accounts. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for three core areas: To monitor and manage those who license course materials from us to ensure compliance with agreements, liaising with those who are in breach of their agreement and working with them to bring their account back in line To interrogate and analyse the metrics for core KPIs across the business to identify areas of concern and highlight areas for improvement to the senior management team To take a proactive role in managing and collecting outstanding debts. The successful candidate will be flexible and be happy to take on broader responsibilities outside of the core credit control remit, working with managers across the business to analyse core company data and providing effective reporting to the senior management team on your findings. Responsibilities:
Analysis of key performance indicators across the business with meaningful reporting to the senior management team on key variances on a monthly basis Effective management of license holders, ensuring compliance with license agreements Reducing Debtor Days Outstanding Calculation of the collection percentage each month, based on the amount outstanding and the actual amount collected Improving Bad Debt to Sales ratio For this role, we are looking for someone who wants to broaden their role outside of the core credit control function, to incorporate a broader analysis of business KPIs and management of key business accounts. Personal Specification: Graduate or equivalent A desire to step outside of the core credit function to provide greater analysis of core management information and business metrics A minimum of 1 years' experience working within a credit control environment Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, including Excel Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed with minimal supervision Excellent numerical skills
